La 25ª edición de los Critics Choice Awards se ha transmitido a través de la cadena The CW en directo desde el Barker Hangar en Santa Mónica, California.
En la gala se ha hecho honor a los mayores logros del año en televisión y cine, siempre según la opinión de la crítica, que normalmente no coincide con la del público.
Los premios se han vuelto a repartir entre las plataformas de streaming: la comedia de Amazon Prime Video Fleabag, When They See Us de Netflix y Succession de HBO se llevaron los grandes premios en el apartado televisivo.
