Más de lo mismo en las grandes categorías: ganan los de siempre, en unos premios que NO reflejan la gran riqueza del mundo seriéfilo.
En el transcurso de esta madrugada se han celebrado la 70 edición de los Premios Emmy. Un año más, pocas sorpresas y muchos títulos que reptien, algunos de ellos hasta la saciedad.
En primera posición, la Sra. Maisel de Amazon volvió a ser considerada absolutamente maravillosa al recoger el oro por cinco veces, incluyendo el de la mejor serie de comedia.
Si esos 5 premios para la comedia de Amazon parecen exagerados, pues dejan en fuera de juego a muchas otras comedias que merecían más, peor es lo de 'American Crime Story: Gianni Versace', que ha sido la segunda serie más premiada, con cuatro triunfos importantes, incluido el actor principal de series limitada Darren Criss y mejor serie limitada. Habrá que empezar a concluir que, mientras exista 'American Crime Story', el resto de ficciones pueden retirarse.
Para nuestro mínimo consuelo, otras series anotaron un doble premio Juego de Tronos (incluido el de mejor serie drama), The Crown, Barry, The Americans y Godless.
Como ya sabíamos, en el apartado de "TV Movie" ha ganado el famoso capítulo de Black Mirror, “USS Callister”. La serie repite en esta categoría, ya que el año pasado también ganó con “San Junipero”.
